I was a Costume Designer for many years in Los Angeles working in Theatre, TV and Film. When not on a movie set or backstage in a theatre, I worked in a custom bridal shop. Now I enjoy designing and hand crafting unique costumes and accessories when I'm not chasing after my 10 year old son or gardening.

I have a huge collection of vintage fabrics, buttons, notions, trims, laces and patterns curated by my late mother and myself (plus countless 'donations' from family and friends) that I use when creating my costumes. I up-cycle, re-use, recycle and re-purpose as much as possible when designing.

I learned to sew from my mother while I was still in the womb! She sewed clothing & costumes professionally for figure skaters, performers, movie stars and much later, designed custom wedding gowns. She also learned to sew from HER mother, and as the second oldest of 9 kids, sewing the family clothes was a true labor of love.
